In the beginning
SpindleTap Brewery was founded in 2014 and opened to the public in 2015. The owners originally used the space as a small outlet to entertain their clients, but the brewery quickly grew into much more. The name SpindleTap is a homage to the original Spindletop gusher in Beaumont, TX that led to the oil boom of the 20th century.
Always innovating
The original core lineup included Boomtown Blonde Ale, Toolpusher Pale Ale, Honey Hole ESB (2019 GABF Silver Medal Winner), Hop Gusher IPA & Hopper House DIPA. Houston Haze debuted in 2017 and took the city of Houston by storm. Since then, SpindleTap Brewery has focused on making some of the best hazy IPAs in the country.
